To use this thing, you actually don’t need to use all services that are provided by Google.

You should know what a chromebook can do and what it can’t do before you decide to buy this.

If you are now using Windows OS, everything you can do with web interface, you can do them with this machine too. I am a PC users, and would say, buy this as a secondary machine, but in reality, since I have my chromebook, I haven’t used my Windows desktop.

Keep it mind that not all of external devices will work with it, but most standard ones will do.

All computing tasks will work, you just need it to be done in different ways. For printing, I use Google’s cloud printing feature.

As per Acer C710-2833 chromebook itself, I love it as I have a lot of fun using it, but I get what I paid for with the chromebook. The 1366 x 768 pixels screen resolution isn’t the best in color, but it’s adequate. It’s more than decent to view websites, apps, and pictures. I downloaded games from appstore, and they run fine. I also downloaded movies, and they play just fine too.

The 2 built-in stereo speakers is fair enough for its volume. The HD webcam runs fine with skype or google video chat hangout which you can use easily within your gmail interface. For one finger movements the touchpad works great however for navigation using 2 or more fingers scrolling, it isn’t that good. Dragging and tapping navigation are easy and responsive. What I like is the chicklet styles keyboard, and it is an island styled keyboard which makes typing is comfortable. Compared with my previous laptop standard keyboard is the magnifying glass icon key which is located between Fn and ALT keys for the searching button, and the others like brightness and volumes shortcut keys are all in the same locations. Battery life is around 3-4 hours with my chromebook.

The Acer C710-2833 chromebook has 16gb Solid state drive (faster than the previous C7 without ssd), SD card slot, HDMI, wifi, and USB ports.

Because it’s light to carry, you can take it with you while you are on the go, and work with it, like creating docs, emails, and even skype. verify this business away And it even comes with VGA and ethernet jack.

All in all, Chrome OS devices are not for everybody, but in fact, it basically is.

I recommend this device if you want to have something to do your web surfing, online games playing, email, and editing documents, Acer C710-2833 11.6-Inch Chromebook – Iron Gray (16GB SSD) not too heavy computing. It does its job well for under 200 bucks.
